Unified Payments Group Gets Jason Palmer As The New CTO

Unified Payments is already bringing to market new cloud-based AR solutions and Jason will help to steer the technology course allowing the company to scale quickly.

FREMONT, CA: One of the best providers of B2B AR technology, Unified Payments Group has designated Jason Palmer as Chief Technology Officer of Unified.

The IT infrastructure for Unified’s open-API, cloud-based B2B Payment Acceptance technology will be led by Jason Palmer and it also includes streamlining how Unified’s AR solutions integrate with enterprise and mid-market ERP platforms. The integration of Unified’s modular technology with ERP systems offers clients unique visibility into AR cycles and access to rich data analytics. Earlier, Jason served HiTouch Business Services and led all Information Technology, including eCommerce and ERP, and also held technology leadership positions with Office Depot, Staples, Allied Office Products, and UPS.

CEO of Unified Commerce Solutions, John Perez, says that Unified is transforming the payments landscape by providing adequate and efficient tools. These tools enable firms to dramatically enhance A/R processes with shorter order-to-cash cycles and digital replacements for manual processes and workflows. He also mentioned that “we not only improving the back-office operations of our clients but also simplifying the entire order-to-cash process, paving the path for savings and efficiencies for our clients and their customers.”

Palmer said in a statement that he is excited to join Unified and a team with proven success bringing dynamic, customer-centric efficiencies and unprecedented change to B2B payments. He also added that he is looking forward to collaborating with the team to further refine Unified’s world-class AR technology. It will help the clients to improve cash flow and gain valuable insights into their order to cash processes so they can efficiently grow their business.

Palmer pursued his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Information Management and Technology. He will be based in Franklin, TN at Unified’s corporate headquarters.

The company statement also states that Unified Payments is already bringing to market new cloud-based AR solutions built on advanced data science techniques, and Jason will help to steer their technology course, allowing them to scale rapidly. The company was featured among the Top 10 Accounts Receivable Solutions Provider in 2018 by CFO Tech Outlook magazine.
