FREMONT, CA: Mónica MacGregor, a senior professional with experience in international financial crime compliance and global risk management, has joined Treliant as Managing Director of the company's Global Financial Crimes Compliance service department. She has more than 20 years of expertise in AML, sanctions, anti-corruption, international financial crimes investigations, and global risk management.

Mónica has worked as a consultant and in-house compliance officer in various roles, lately as Berkeley Research Group's Managing Director, Global Investigations and Strategic Intelligence. She formerly worked at Oriental Bank as a BSA/OFAC Officer. She has managed high-stakes criminal, civil, and internal cross-border investigations assisted clients in designing and implementing compliance programs and presented findings as a specialist in front of U.S. and international prosecutorial and investigative bodies, and financial regulators and international organizations throughout her career. Mónica has also worked as a prosecutor, assisting the Department of Justice's Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Division to investigate and prosecute systematic compliance deficiencies at several critical financial institutions.
